Last Sunday morning, our Music Group introduced us to a new song: "Good and Gracious King" by CityAlight.
It connected really well with the first verse from our passage in James 2:
"My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favouritism." (James 2:1)
We're prone to favouritism when we're seeking our own glory, but Jesus "deserves the greater glory" as this song reminds us. And if we're living for Him, we'll try to love our neighbour as our self - without favouritism or discrimination.
The song also helps us recount and respond to the gospel.
